Check valve

Has anyone successfully used any other one way check valve on a ys engine? I once tried one from another brand and
none of the three would keep the tank pressurized, replaced it with an original and no problem.
let me know if you have tried and how it worked out.

Thanks

Great,I recently purchased a couple of these the red nitro ones. Good to hear that they work, sometimes the ys ones are hard to find.

I have used a Dubro fuel filter with the screen replaced by a light spring and ball bearing as a one-way valve, but not for a YS application.

It looks like OS, Sullivan and Perry also offer check valves http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...CH=check+valve Are any of these suitable for use with a YS engine?

If you're looking for the YS part, go to Central Hobbies (www.centralhobbies.com), which I've found to be the source for YS parts and engines. Navigate to the YS engine parts page, click on the engine you've got and it will be listed. For example, for the FZ 110, it's part E (YS part number YSE0405), $9.95. They might all be the same, but I don't know for sure.
If you want another brand I guess you could, but you know the YS check valve will work properly.

I've been buying my YS parts directly from YS. Shipping is much more reasonable.

I have experimented with other valves and had erratic running and hard to tune engines. EVERY time I swapped back to a YS check valve the problems went away. YMMV but that has been my experience.
