Another Run in Question
Can it really be true. Fuel up set it rich and off you go?
Before buying the Ys I had heard so many different things about Ys which seem to completely over complicate things. All it would seem because of a few extra pipes and the need to set your idle immediatley as it hits 2500 so as not to chase the setting. I assume this is down the drop in tankpressure if left on idle for too long. I have a YS110 which I will run with a 14-10 prop on 20% Prosynth fuel so from what i can gather i need to set the main needle at 2.5 turns to start off with leave the idle until top end is properly set and look at about 9000 rpm obviously not flaqt out for at least the first few tanks. Thats it? no more? Happy flying? It all seems so simple compared to Saito where it is imperitive that you wear the right coloured socks during break in. Still Like the Saito though. Am I allowed to say that in this thread:D Thanks in advance for you help. |
RE: Another Run in Question
I always like to run a couple of tanks thru just to get it set.
Why not look at my running instructions at www.ysperformance.com Good Flying! |
