YS 110 beginner help

hi,

i take possession of my Ys 110 later this week. it's for a pattern plane and i plan to run a hatori pipe with it. i have heard that sometimes these engines are a little fussy and need certain fuel requirements.

just so i know:

1. what's the proper break in, how long, and what fuel is best (what % of nitro, oil)
2. is it true that a special fuel tank is needed because of the YS pump system
3. what adjustment changes should i expect when the Hatori pipe goes on

Use YS 20/20. It is made by several different mfg's.
Run a couple tanks through to get the needles set and go fly it slightly rich for the first gallon of fuel.
You should not notice too much in the way of changes with the Hatori pipe, but why not just run it from the start and not worry about it?
A strong tank is recommended due to the pressure of the fuel system. We like Hayes Products tanks.

Good Flying!

go to www.centralhobbies.com and order one of their tanks. they are specifically designed for the YS pressurized system as their rubber stops have a metal clamp that will keep the stop from getting loose.
