YS 63S Carb Problem
 

Hello Dave,

I have two problems running my newly bought YS63S.
First of all - after reading yr posts, and getting used to the quite different philosophy - the engine runs great. Prop 12x6 for break in - Morgan 30% Heli fuel. [8D]
But...
- I had to turn the idle-screw all the way in to get the 2200 RPM without spool up tendencies.
- after shut down fuel tends to drop out of the carb. The engine is installed "head-down".
What do I do wrong?[:o]

It sounds like you need to lean the regulator just a little. Try 1/4 to 1/2 turn clockwise.

Flew a few times last week - an it turned out to be perfect. :)

By the way - are there still some YS-stickers available?

I saw this post and it reminded me to get some more stickers for my new planes. I got them in the mail already. Thank you very much for the stickers and the fast service. I love YS and I like to show that with stickers on the plane. As a side note: that YS 63s is one sweet engine. I just hit 100 flights on mine and it has not missed a beat.
