Difference between ys 160dz and ys 160dzm ?
Hi,
Probuild are advertising the new YS 160 in two versions the 160 DZ and the 160 DZM. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these engines ? Thanks, Boo |

The DZM comes with a shock mount which mounts on rails in a pattern airplane. We don't sell them in the USA.

Dave, why arent the M versions carried in the US?
If I go by the Produild site the additional price of the M version is attractive relative to buying a separate engine mount in the US. Brian |

If you look at the supplied mount, it fits almost nothing that anyone is using these days. It was designed to mount on hardwood rails in a pattern airplane. Most are now using a firewall mount sp these are out.
We used to sell them as an accessory item, and I believe our service dept. still has some if you are interested. We can still get them for customers in the USA if anyone wants them. The last price I recall was about $200, but that may have changed. Check with service at 775-782-4562 |

Here is a picture of my extra with a 140DMZ you cant see the mount but it is two rings one at the front and one at the rear that has a shock absorber to counteract the torque
