YS 91FZ muffler wire support &/or locktite

Friends,

How do you suppose I can wire in the 91 FZ muffler in case it comes loose OR can you suggest a locktite 'sauce" like teflon, red threadlock OR any other suggestions would be appreciated.

If it has aleady come loose and the threads are damaged, there is no cure but to get a new muffler. Otherwise, teflon tape works well.

Thank you for your time. How does the teflon tape actually work? Does it just melt or just grip or both??
