YS 63 - support problem
 

Hi,

I recently posted about my YS 63 that was surging. Well, I continued testing it on a test stand and it still surges. Since YS fixed my other .63 for the same problem, I thought I would contact them again. Unfortunately, their warranty support phone line keeps giving the busy signal and they won't answer my emails. Is there any other way I can get warranty support on this engine?

Is it possible that I could fix the surging problem myself by rebuilding the engine myself? Or is surging usually caused by a defective part? I remember last time YS had to replace the diaphragm in order to fix the surging so I am guessing the answer is probably no.

Box it up and send it to service. Drop a note in with a brief explanation of the problem.

They will take care of it. Current turnaround is 2 to 3 weeks.
