YS 45 cleaning regulator
Hi Dave,
Following fuel filling the carb after stopping the engine I opened the regulator to clean it up ( plunger and spring ). After putting everything back into place (corectly ) I noticed that I could barley blow air into the fuel intake regardless of the throttle position. Is this normal or is there a problem?. The engine ran perfectly this weekend except for the fuel coming out of carb issue. Thanks in advance Brian |

RE: YS 45 cleaning regulator
Hi Dave,
In continuation to the cleaning of the regulator and plunger of my YS 45 FS. I went out to the field to reset the regulator - I found that the idle finally settled when the regulator is approx. 0.7mm out of the regulator body which is also about one whole turn ( out - counter clock wise ) from the previous position. The transition from idle to max is fine. Do you think I should reopen the reg. to check that all is fine or to leave it as is. Thanks again for the patience and answers Brian |

If it isn't broke, don't fix it!
