YS 60 problem

I have a YS 60 that was sent to YS to be rebuilt I received it back to find the glow plug hole stripped. I called YS and they replaced it free of charge. My problem is that. I ran it a few weeks ago for the first time It ran flawlessly but the next day I could not get it to start. I finally got it to start by reversing the fuel and pressure line. The pressure line is now closest to the prop and the fuel is at the carb. Is there something internally wrong with it or did it blow a gasket. It runs ok like this it idles fine and transitions well but it will not go over 3/4 throttle after 3/4 t it dies off like the lack of fuel.

It won't run properly with the lines reversed as you have found. Make sure the check valve is in the line correctly and that nothing is plugged in the NV assembly. Chances are good that there is some dirt in there someplace.

RE: YS 60 problem

Everythings clean but it will not run with the fuel line and pressure line hooked up as per instruction or like my ys 45 only the opposite. It ran as per instructions when I first ran it, now backwards a friend of mine said it could have a hole in diaphram could this be the reason

RE: YS 60 problem

A hole in the diaphragm will cause the problem. Order a YS 45 diaphragm from Central Hobbies. They are the same.
