YS velocity Stack
 

Is this any good?, should we use it?, Central H. does not carry the YS mount any idea where to get it?

I'm using a Velocity stack on the YS 160 and 170 Engines. It makes them quieter and lowers the torque curve in the throttle band. I like it. I have one on my current model.

Central Hobbies does carry the YS mounts but they are in short supply and you have to call and order them in person. They are not on the website like many of the little neat things we use. Nishioka pipe mounts and so on. Are also carried by Central in limited supplies but are not on the website. Send them and email or call on the phone. I realize you are not in the USA but they do answer emails as well.

I'll give the velocity stack a try, I will call them again , I always order form them and ship to USA because I travel a lot.

Are the Nishioka the ones with springs?, I don't know if the one provided with the Hatori 821 will hold alot, every time I go full throttle the gas pressure pushes it back, any thoughts?.

The stock Hatori mounts work fine. You have to use the wire ties that are included...but to get it apart you have to cut it...I have used the Hatori and it has been very good. The Nishioka one is like the Japanese pilot suse. They are $$$ but they allow you just pinch the clips and its free of the plane.

I will call CH again, how or where can I get YS decals? I need the small ones for my planes.
