SPA engine options

I just looked in the SPA and it states that you can not use and super charged engine...
So are all YS engins non-SPA legal??

All the YS 4 stroke engines have the Super-charger system on them...The YS 63 may be legal as it doesn't have the airbox, but you would have to check with SPA, they make their own rules.

I got a YS 61 ST1 just for the SPA. The engine is basicly new but the carb o-rings have dried out. I have found every YS 61 version manual except the ST-1 heli version.
Please does anyone have the 2 page manual to send a copy to me. I will pay if need be...........This is the metal regulator housing and 2 needle carb with idle set with reg screw.

The older YS60 and YS61 2 stroke are all legal most of the 4 strokes are not. The YS63 4 stroke would be legal but you would be up against OS91's in a 60 size plane. If you got a 40-45 size plane the YS 63 would be fine.
