Default ZDZ 80 Mung & Drool

Howdy.....

Mike I have a ZDZ 80 with 1 gal. thru it. It is inverted. I have noticed some mung & drool escaping from the combustion chamber around the plug (cap) area. I have tightened the spark plug numerous times. (its not loose) What gives?
Seems like the taper on the bottom of the plug cap that goes under the spark plug is not the correct one. (sloppy) Is there a retrofit for this issue?

Answer this & I just might buy a 160 offa ya. tee hee hee

Thankee........

Stan, You might need more of a chamfer to seat the cap properly to prevent leakage, however slight.
Thanks,

Dear Whymee, You can't possibly be giving up that easy? We would be more than happy to have a look at the engine for you and do whatever it takes to make it right for you. Give us a call.
Thanks,

No, not that easy.

I was am assuming that if I did ask for a new plug bottom part (the one with the taper) that I would have the same problem. If there is not an updated part *ie taper* then , yes I am on my own.

I could return the motor to ya for inspection, ect., but I love it to much to let it go right in the middle of the flying season. If it comes to that, I shall wait till winter to have this corrected at your place of business.

Actually a better machined taper would correct the problem. Get on dem Czech Republic peeps!
