Default ZDZ 80rv ignition

Ok I bought yak with a ZDZ80RV. I cannot start this engine using the 5-5-1 method [:@]after 4 flick lots of fuel comes out the cab, A friend of mine check the ignition system and found the sensor working but the ignition box burnout (no spark) .

#1 why is the Carb flooding offer 4 flick??

#2 Can I use a DL50 ignition unit? The ZDZ sensor works ok, Is there a timing difference' between the ZDZ ignition unit and the DL?

Thanks guys

If it is the Falkon ignition, like on my old RV....it was power hungry compared to the CH, Rcign, or RCexl units, but maybe I had a bad one. Be sure you don't have a marginal battery on the ignition. Have you checked for spark? Install the boot and set screw onto the plug removed from the cylinder, hold it against the cylinder, have a buddy kill the lights and start passing the magnet by the sensor. You shouldn't be seeing a lot of fuel come out of a properly tuned carb either, might be worth your time to dig into it with a carb kit and cleaning if you haven't done so recently.

Yep we check the ignition even holding the electrode it self no spark. But back to the question can the DL ignition works with this engine??. And battery is a fronco 7.5 volt fully charged.

Thanks guys
