RCS 180
 

Mike, I`m waiting for a CG Sukhoi and was thinking about the RCS 180 for it, but have a few questions before ordering. Can that engine use APC props without worriing that it might split or break? is the 20x10 APC good for the 180 or should I go with a smaller prop? (or will it be better to buy the Bambulas) Well, overall just want to make sure that this is the right engine for it so any comments about it and any advice is welcome. After this, on monday I`ll get the order on your website. Thanks in advance.

John, The RCS F180 with the inv pitts muffler is a good choice, recommend a Bambula 18x8 for break in and then a 18x10 or 20x8 thereafter. The APC props might not have the hub diameter to drill the 6 prop bolt holes.

Thanks Mike. I went to the bigger size engine for my plane and ordered aZDZ50 from your site and changed my mind about the CG Sukhoi for a Yak 54,anyway I think that I`m better off with the brand I know best. Thanks for everything.
BTW when more or less, do you think the ZDZs are coming in?
