You guys must not be oval fans..
This looks very scale if you ask me. The front is a little "pointy" though.

It looks like it might also perform well in the dirt?? I would never buy a Mini Slider for an oval as it does not drive like a sprint car. Sure at this scale sliding around the track isn't the fast way around, but I would say it's the funnest.
Guess well have to wait till some goes and tests one..

it's a mini slider, but with a slightly longer chasis (3/4 in) and an additional space on the left to move the battery over, different roll cage and different wheels.

the wider chassis was already available for the slider.

i did this to my slider already (minus the additional 3/4 inch chassis extension)

so no. once again it's not a new car. it's a slightly modified version of an existing model.

plus, i like the late model mini slider body better (and you get to paint it).

Kinda neat looking (a bit boxy, though). I'm just wondering how many stretches the mini-t can take before the tranny becomes too weak for the job. This is stretch #2, what's next, a funny car?

I think they should put their time and energy into building a totally "NEW" vehicle instead of redesigning one that they already have. I would love to see them produce a 4wd buggy similiar to the KMI series or maybe a nitro mini.........

Same here. I was actually expecting to see a 1/10 or 1/8 Slider today, so I was a little disappointed. I think their mini electric line is getting crazy, but that may be where they are making a lot of their profit. A Mini-Muggy nitro would have my wallet opened in a heartbeat.

I'll buy one and report it here. I like it but cannot believe they wont make a stinkin 4x4 mini! And not a MT like the MLST2 or any of the other variations of that truck.

I actually like it, I never ended up buying a mini slider so this might be a good buy for me. If I do I'll post pics [&:]

Yay they changed the body and made some other TINY changes and called it a new car. I'm no longer a Losi supporter.

you could say the same thing about the mini slider since its a modified mini-t. Just stop bashing losi. There the only company that has almost every type of vehicle and comes out with new stuff regularly

I really don't think anyone is bashing Losi. The only reason they come out with new stuff regularly now is because they just modify an existing vehicle. All of the minis and micros listed below have been released in the last 5-6 years. All we are saying is Losi should design an "NEW" mini and not a so called "NEW" variation to an existing model.

Mini-LST, Mini-LST2, Mini-Raminator

Mini-T, Mini-Baja, Mini-Slider, Mini-Oval racer

Micro-T, Micro-Baja, Micro-DT

looks like a customworks car.
great looking latemodel body best looking latemodel body to date i think. they come in 4 different colors i think? the silver#31 is my favorite!
bet it will be faster then the slider ot of the box?
another box stock class at the local track.
great job Losi!

great job Losi!
it uses the same motor and gearbox as the slider (and mini-t, mini baja, etc..), but is longer and a little heavier. so no, there's no way it's going to be faster out of the box.
the added length will be a benefit to non-stock class users though. the configuration should more readily support larger batteries and more powerful motors.
it looks pretty good too. maybe a little more realistic than the body for the mini slider.

i haven't read anyone bashing losi about this. it's just that most of us were expecting (or hoping for) something that was actually new. this is just another mini-t clone with some light modifications.

i am looking forward to them releasing some of the parts, like that rear bumper. it'll bolt right up to mu mini-slider's tranny (same as the mini t) and offer much better protection from rear-end crashes on the track!!

Will that Chassis hold up to some jumps... I want to make my Mini-T longer to give it more of a true ST look.

It's....average? I do agree they should do some R&D on a new vehicle and not a new body and wheel package they are releasing every month.
