Solarfilm
Hello
I'm just wondering what people think of Solarfilm because i've never read anything about it on these forums. I've used for a couple planes that i have and it works good, theres not much difference from Ultracote and Monokote escept its lighter and uses less heat.

RE: Solarfilm
I have used a LOT of solarfilm, years ago I would buy it due to the lower cost. Now I buy it for use on smaller models (since it is lighter) but I find it doesnt stick on the seams as well as monokote so I am carefull to watch them. I usually rub a light coating of thin CA glue on them if they start to lift.
Its also great stuff to cover foam with, due to the lower temp it sticks and shrinks at.
