If I remember correctly the video on YouTube of Big D on the beach mentions the lack of headroom throughout her.

I believe the headroom in Dauntless was around 6'-3" to 6'-5". Then there were the ceiling beams which were used for grabbing while underway which made the ceilings even lower in those areas.
