Spaceman, i hope you dont mind if I chime in with some progress pictures on my Mirage.
I had to exchange sleeve of the rear wing tubes as they weren't properly aligned. No big deal. an evenings work.
Otherwise the last big challenge will be to fit the landing gear from HAWE which I had to send back for some more rightsizing. The retract units were way too high for the thin airframe. Hawe is a great company to deal with. I should have the gear back soon. Nose is removable with magnets and I trial fitted the shock cones and painted the nozzle a little bit.
