4" spacing works great, and I think is pretty standard. But, I can accommodate anything that might be needed by the ribs. Also, given that there is slight dihedral, you might consider building the dihedral into the 1/4 holes if the ribs can accommodate it (Like Al Rabe, if you familiar with his work) allowing for building the entire wing at once, or left and right halves.
