I've gone with a Power 160 on 10S in a 25% Byron Cap that has a ton of power and its heavier than my 55cc powered S'bach. Take a look at the Zippy Flightmax 5S 5000mAh lipos...a pair will set you back a $150.

after some search on the web i found that everybody uses 8s to 10s set up so i think that would be good and i m going for the 10s and hopefully it wont be too heavy...

1.5kg of battery...build it light.

With that amperage I would recommend EC5 connectors and a arming plug. Deans aren't quite up to the higher current. They are rated to 60A where the EC5s are 120+A. Plus they have a jacket protecting your fingers from arcing the circuit...you're over 40V when fully charged!

Forget the tapped power for the BEC (Deans)...the CC BEC Pro was supposed to go there, but I have taken it out of service and gone with a seperate battery for Rx duty. The original popped and the replacement was a dud...I'm not waiting for the third strike...lol.

Keep us posted on your progress.

and after getting the plane in my hands and considering all my options and after weighting the parts the plane is just under 2kg empty and all the accesories almost 400kgr and the shoes 100kgr i decide that its better to go with my os 120ax with a 17x6 wooden prop and a weight of 850kgr it wont be more than 4.2 - 4.3 rtf weight all up. sounds good to me. sadly it wont be an electric no more and i wanted it to be one.
and i think from now on im on the wrong forum
