Default Hovering Problems

I am teaching myself to hover with a foam factory Edge 300 powered by an Axi 2212/34.
Problem is that when vertical, the left wing alwys seems to want to drop or a lot of right rudeder is required to keep it straight. In other words that plane wants to turn anticlockwise on the vertical plain. One more clue is that underpower it flies straight and true with quite a bit of right aeleron trim. When it speeds up in a dive it tends to want to lift the nose and arc upwards.

My thoughts are that my thrust angles on my motor are not quite right, perhaps I should give it a bit of right and up thrust? Also, with the battery in place, on the left side of the fuselage it seems a bit heavier on that side, so maybe a bit of weight on the right wing tip?

it sounds like tourqe n the hover. all planes need a lttle imput to hover. i wouldn't worry about it. as for the nose climbing it sounds like a rearward c of g. how much down elevator does it need inverted?

Extra300 36" sorry.
Will check the cg by flying inverted.
When I do a loop it always seems to roll out of the loop the same way. To stay in the loop I need to use a lot of right aeleron. Is that normal?
What is coupling?

Lots of questions but how else does one learn?

I agree with Chris B....
Check the LATERAL balance... I'd wager the Left wing is heavier...
and that will cause all kinds of headaches...
another real killer is having the control surface gaps uneven. if the airplane does not track well through loops,
balance laterally, and seal the hinge gaps (if not already sealed.)
Hope that helps!

(BTW, the term "Coupling" is when you command one flight control, and the result includes a second <uncommanded> control input)
when in knife edge flight, (with lots of rudder) it's common for the airplane to need elevator input to keep it flying straight....
the cause of that elevator input requirement is Rudder\Elevator coupling.

Thanks guys. I might have bigger issues.
My crystal fell out of my RX this weekend. The subsequent contact with the ground was not pretty.

Who knows, the extra epoxy might balance the plane. I will let you know when all is better.

sorry zagibond. have ypou managed to fix the problems yet. i am pretty sure its a heavy wing. you could either add weight to the wing thats lighter or preferably move the battry so that its in the center of the fuse. here is a pic showing what i mean:
