Is the E-flite mini Funtana a good airplane?
I was thinking about getting the E-flite Yak 54 but I also want the mini Funtana. Which one is the best? I was thinking the Mini Funtana but I really don't know.

RE: Is the E-flite mini Funtana a good airplane?
Both the Yak 54F and Mini Funtana have proven to be very popular models. That said, they are completely different models which makes them tough to compare to one another
The Yak 54F is by far one of the best "flat wing" foamies out there. Its rock solid and not flexible like most flat foamies, making it very precise and quite 3D capable, indoors and out. Due to its stiff construction it can handle wind better than most other models in its class, but not nearly as much wind as the Mini Funtana might be able to handle. The Yak can be built as light as 11-12 ounces and even with the heaviest components is still under 15-16 ounces which makes it a much different class of model when compared to the Mini Funtana.
When equipped as recommended, the MF weighs in at about 25 ounces and has plenty of power to spare. It flies much like a larger airplane than a foamie - especially in windier conditions. It is also capable of both precision and 3D flying with 2 adjustable wing positions.
Good luck - I think youll be quite happy with either one!

I think that I might get the Yak 54f in June and by Christmas I will get the Mini Funtana or the Mini Edge.

The mini funtana is an exceptionally good plane, it flies like a plane should fly. The construction is great even though it is made to be very light, it is still quite strong. I dropped mine in directly on it's nose (at a good speed) yesterday and expected it to be totaled. It is now (the next day and ready to fly.
I also have the Yak but have not flown it yet, the construction looks to be very nice.
Another thing is. The support you will get from Horizon is the best in the business.
