RE: Having another shot at it
i'm not sure about the weight of the servo's i'm sure if you ask about some one could tell you if they are ok as i've always used 5g servo's as for batteries i just got the cheapest li-po from here http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk/ best thing to do is call them they are really helpful and they will point you in the right direction with battery and charger make sure you use li-po and not li-ion as they are heavier

RE: Having another shot at it
i just realized i have a 3 cell 1200 mah battery that should work.
im not sure should i get the model on ebay or the shocky but my local shop is out of edje 540 and SMC have just on left which is fine but delivery is £5.00 so i think i might just wait for the stock to come in.
or should i get the superstar shocky.

Sos for taking so long to reply i just got back from holiday.
i got the edje 540 and have finished it within about 2 days ( not straight but for like maybe 3 hours max each day). All im waiting for now is to go back to school its starting in about 2 days so i can get the motor mount cut out and stuff ( my school has all the tools)

theres only one way to build and set up an ikarus shocky.First always use uhu-por for the main assembley, use epoxy for the cf rods and cino for the wheel axles to the undercarrage.if you use cino for the main assembley the depron becomes brittle at the joints and any impact results injoints breaking were as uhu-por will flex and absorb impact. As for the set up,if you visit www.brushlessmotors.co.uk and follow chris kemps setup you will have the ultimate shocky. It might seem a little expensive but if you get the right set up to start with it will save you money in the long term.I know i have wasted my money and ended up with his set up.Your model all up weight should be 155 gms
