Servo selection question
I've got four Hitec HS-5945 and four Hitec HS-5925 servos that I bought for my 31% CA Models Extra 300L. At 6V the 5945 produces 180 oz/in of torque, and the 5925 produces 128 oz/in.
My question is, which servos do I use for what? Currently I've got two 5925 ganged for the rudder, one 5925 in each elevator half, and two 5945 for each aileron. My reasoning behind this is that I would have incredible speed for the elevator and rudder (for 3D) and have plenty of holding power on the HUGE ailerons on this plane.
What do you think? Should I use the 5945 for the rudder and elevator to have a larger amount of torque or just leave it like it is?

Servo selection question
My opinion is that setup will work just fine. It's also my opinion that any time you use 2 digital servos together, you should use a programmer to set end points and center points so the servos aren't fighting each other.

Servo selection question
Rudder: Hitec 5945s
Ailerons: Hitec 5925s
Elevator: Hitec 5945s
I would do that because you want more torque on the Rudder than with just the 5925s... you want speed on the ailerons. Thats just my take on it though.

I would say you need more speed on rudder, and maybe elevators for 3D than ailerons. I would go with the set up you mentioned. I am a Kg, no oz boy, but I think that they would be fine on the rudder, as it is 31%
