Hi Joe!
Oh absolutely regarding the beefing up the structure for the turbine!
What I'm doing next is laying in 1/8" plywood to make a sort of "sub" floor from the end of the fuse to the back. Similar to the plywood floor in the DF version.
The turbine is going to be mounted on a pedestal type of arrangement, similar to a Roo. What you see in the pictures there is my turbine mount just sitting on top of some old tooling.
I still have more spars to add plus i hope to have the servo boxes made later tonight.
Hmmm, looks like I should start thinking about a speed brake too. Does yours deploy 90 degrees to the bottom of the fuse when extended or just as straight down as it will go?
