a slightly nose down attitude when balancing is a good thing
will give you an easier flying aircraft

or can you move the electronics around?
try moving the batt flat against the fuel tank bulkhead

I only had to add 1/4oz to the tail, and yes I like a slight nose down too about 15degrees

I switched the placement battery pack and the receiver and it fixed my CG problem. I sat and talked with a guy who has been flying for 40 yrs. I was asking the same thing. That’s what he told me to do and it worked. He said add weights only as a last resort.

O one more thing blue locktite everything you can on the engine.

I have to agree with that, always better to move things around instead of adding weights to balance it.

Still, 3oz sounds like a lot.

1. Recheck the point where you are supposed to balance it - Make sure you're balancing it on the right spot.
2. The tank is empty, right?

Its a very good plane! I had mine for 5 flights, then crashed it. If they had an ARF I would buy it in a heartbeat. Its very stable, predictable and when your ready manueverable!

Sorry you lost your p 51, was all the training stuff off when doing aerobatics? I was told by a club member not to do any aerobatics stuff till all the trainer stuff is removed?? that was after he took it up for a try. He has more experience than I and flies just about anything, so I took his advise, when I remove them I will try some aerobatics.
