Hi all: Just purchased a DP 120 Ultimate without a manual. Does anyone out there have a manual they would like to sell or I would gladly pay someone to copy theirs and send the copy to me?

Did you get a manual yet?
I could scan mine and make a PDF file of it. You could print a copy from it.

cmptrguy,

PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.
It is a little over 6 mb file. I sent it to myself at a hotmail address and it went OK.

I'm just following up....I received another request for the DP Ultimate manual. I almost forgot about this thread, and figured I would upload a few pictures of mine and another club members DP Ultimate. Mine is in the foreground, and has a YS 140L for power, and the other plane has an OS 160 for power.

Is this similar to the GP Ultimate ARF?

The DP Ultimate is a scaled up version of the Goldberg 10-300 ARF. The Goldberg version was 54" span, whereas the DP Ultimate was 60.5" span. The larger size made it legal to use in IMAC competition.I believe they were both designed by Dave Patrick.
I don't know about the Great Planes version of the Ultimate.

Going by the above photo's and looking at my GP Ultimate I would say they are pretty much identical in appearance. Only two thing's I can see different is the interplane struts on the GP has a defferent mount. And the nose of the GP cowl may be just a smidgeon larger vertically.

I recently picked up a pre-owned DP Ultimate Bipe and I love this plane. Unfortunately had a dead stick this weekend which resulted in some damage. Can anyone provide the exact covering make and colors? I have the yellow \ blue \ red Ultimate.

Thanks a lot.

It is ultracoat standard colors. Oracover is the same I believe. Sorry don't know names but if you stick to those brands it is easy to match.

I just found a nib DP Ultimate 120, and, as often happens, the instructions are MIA. Still, I feel pretty fortunate finding the kit!
So, if it's not too much of a bother, does anyone have a pdf of the manual handy I could get a copy of?
Thanks,
Milo

Dave Patrick Ultimate owners,

I have just acquired the big Dave Patrick Ultimate, here in Colorado Springs.
It needs Landing Gear, panties & the two outboard wing struts (all lost by the previous owner)

Is it possible to sweet talk anyone into tracing out one of your wing struts for me so I can recreate two new struts? I could also use the landing gear height & wheel pant lengths so as to start rounding those up too.

Thanks

Default DP Ultimate 120

I have a brand new Ultimate almost ready to go. It has 4 ailoron servos for the bottom and top wings. Re the wiring and set up with the trans would like to know if anyone has done it this way rather than only the bottom wing having the servos. If so, would like to know the wiring set up and channel set up. Thanks

I use a y-connector for each side. So a Y for the top and lower left servos, and another Y for the upper and lower right servos.

Anyone know about the tank location for a nitro engine. I have a OS 120AX side mounted aand the tank is way below the center line of the crank shaft. I ran the engine and it leaned out very quickly. Have any of you had this problem. I am planning on taking out the elevated floor and do a bit of cutting so the the tank is in the proper location. Any feedback would be appreciated.
