so excited i cant stand it
im about 3/4ths done with my pt-40 so today i went to lhs and finally bought my engine and tx after posting here and getting some advice i went with an o.s. 46ax it just looks awesome sitthing here i cant wait to mount it in the plane that is tonights project. and to top it off i bought my tx also it is the new jr 6102 and as i sit here typing this it is on the charger i havent even turned it on yet as the instructions say to charge it for 24 hours first so maybe you can see where i am at i cant wait to finish my plane and get my first flying lesson i already have an instructor lined up he is also a good friend of mine that is the instructor at the club im going to join
he has about 25years of flying exp and i have seen him fly to many times to count and wow i cant belive the things he can make an airplane do all i can say is i hope sometime in my life i can be half as good as he is. thank you for letting me ramble on im off to work on the plane safe flights to all.

You're definitely going about all this the right way, and I'm guessing you'll be doing the stuff your friend does in the not too distant future.

Is your trainer finished and ready to fly this spring?

Plane's finished, just got to get CG and aileron warping right, got to set control throws right, and gotta remove the wrinkles....
Removing wrinkles is hard with a household iron[

PS I don't have too much time on my hands; it's just hard not to make up silly songs while trying to study Precalculus from a 1984 textbook
