LANDING BEFORE EMPTY ?

RE: LANDING BEFORE EMPTY ?
What is two dead sticks happen at the same time?
It happened to me last weekend.
There were four models in the air, and another pilot and myself voiced "deadstick" at the same time.
Then, I didn't know which one was the plane coming down to share the strip with me.
I happened to land first, and both models were just fine.
For some reason, my few perfect landings have been after the engine quits in mid air; may be is the lack of thrust or a better mental concentration for that only chance to land.

Keep calm, everybody......
Don't no one have a panic attack if I show you this one.
It lands dead stick every time.
No need to act like a girl about it, screaming out ''DEADSTICK[X(]''
It's part of the sport.

When I was in England, I went to the Wings and Wheels Extravaganza at the North Weald field near Harlow, UK. Ripmax models was flying their Ripmax Rapier, a flying wing. They had, oh, 15 or so models, all on separate radio channels. They were all aligned on the ground, the picture only shows a few. It was pretty neat to see, then they flew them.
Since it was a manufacturers demo flight, they didn't really care if they mid-air'ed so they flew in formation. at one point, 18 went up, 12 landed safely. The other 6, well, anyway, I was to busy watching to take pictures of the mid-air's. Was quite impressive, to say the least.

[X(]!! CGR, that would be quite a sight! I've never seen anything close to that........3 up at a time pylon racing is the closest to that. They can midair too, which is a sad fact.
LNEWQBAN, it's an ackward moment, huh? I guess all you can do is communicate and try to clear the runway.
