Need some giant scale advice....
I'm thinking of converting my 35% Carden Edge 540 to e-power and have been searching for a motor that could provide the power at less than a million dollars. I have found 2 that look like they can do it. The AXi "Double 5330" and the Hang-It R/C "X7050". The 7050 is cheaper. What do you guys think would be a good setup?
Specs for the AXi: http://modelmotors.cz/index.php?page...e=20&line=GOLD
Specs for the 7050: http://hangitrc.com/motors.htm
The airplane weighs right at 28 pounds with a 3W100.

Before you waste money on a name I'd go to United Hobbies and check out what they got. They list their Hextroniks motors and the Axi equiv. they replace. The 35-36-1100 I'm using is a Axi 2814 (I think...check there) replacement and the quality and efficiency is just as good based on independent testing I've read. $130 for the Axi, $25 for the Hextroniks. You do the math...

Hey Lord Hunter,
You found one of my secrets. I use a lot of the UH motors in my big stuff. In my case $50.00 sure beats $200.00 for an matching AXI.
I've yet to find a bad one, heck even the little motors are great money savers.

I'm not seeing anything at United Hobbies with the power that I need. Who else makes motors that are comparable to a DA-100 or 3W 100?
