Default RB Motor Mounting

Hi all,

Need some advice on something I'm all little concerned about. I have a Hyper7 Pro and I bought a RB S7 II (Euro) motor for it. When I fit the motor, to have it aligned I have to move it all the way to the right (if you look from under the car) and almost all the way to the back on the motor slides. The drive shaft doesn't touch, but its mighty close. Is that normal, or is there something that I can do to get it to fit better (like bigger pinion gear) ?

Thanks

I put a RB engine in my Rex X and the drive shaft touched the engine mount so I had to file down the mount on the engine quite a bit so there was a 1mm gap.
