Mixed up 30 finishing resin with a 50-50 mix of milled fibers and cab-o-sil to a toothpaste consistency. I shot a nice thick bed then imbedded the layers of 6 oz. tape.I let some of it ooze forward to tie in with the original tape.
I did smooth the curled edges after I saw these pics (bright lights help). I laid down some black tape to act as a mold on the outside as there were some small pieces missing.
I will let this sit until the end of the work week. For the fillet/fin I will mix a stiffer batch and fill the joint, with small glass patches in the fin I can reach.
The rudder was just filled, sanded and ready for spot priming.

Tacked the fin/fillet back in place w/ slow-thick Ca. I mixed again w/ 50-50 milled fibers and cab-o-sil very stiff. Shot it down the fillet pushing it down with a sharpened dowel. The fin was then shot and several small pieces of FG cloth pushed in. I went over the seam pushing the new mix in where the original epoxy popped out. This will tie the repair together. The bottom repair is good and stiff!

Made a new tail post locking into the stab. The tear out is repaired w/ two layers of .75 oz. laid diagonally. The post is epoxied in with the 50-50 mix. Plenty of clamps needed in this hobby. With the tail now secure, I can grind the popped fillets without anything moving. The fun repair will be to the cockpit.

Rudder is now rough fit. The arrows point to actual cracks/splits. I took a Dremel ball burr to gring down to good material and 100 grit to smooth it out. Some of my cracks were just paint cracks and hit w/ the 100 grit.
Used the same stiff mix as before and pushed the epoxy into the splits to tie everything back together. The back end is now really stiff, better then new. I have added some weight back there, so I'll just move my battery pack forward.
