Thanks for the support of the post Plane Jim, but David may have been right. Though I did think that the clubhouse was the place for off topic.

In my opinion, David was wrong in closing the thread. Although the clubhouse was originally intended for general discussion of R/C, the administrators stated several years ago that it was intended to be like and actual R/C clubhouse in which a lot of different topics are discussed; excluding politics and religion. The topic of Chick-Fil-A is about support of a business. It has gotten all the attention due to views of the owner being rejected primarily by high profile liberal politicians. This could become a political debate but it isn't really a political nor a religious issue per se so it should be open to discussion.
