Pacemaker
I have been told I will soon need a pacemaker installed.
In reading up on this I have discovered they are susceptible to the ignition noise of gas powered chain saws as well as RF Transmitters.
This means I will need some sort of shielding when I start my engines and when I fly.
I am thinking I will need a sort of metal sleeveless shirt that is grounded to the nearest post.
Anyone have any experience with this sort of problem?

Seems a pacemaker doesn't show any problems with RC; http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=402353
Also, the fifth point made in this article from AHA says that household items like radios won't bother it. heck, I wouldn't even think WiFI signals would disrupt it! Especially because 2.4 GHz has less power than an oven, and ovens are fine to use.

Naw. I have a pacemaker defibrillator installed. Had it since 2008. I run a chainsaw and fly 2.4 and 72, use Bluetooth devices, etc. Never had a problem. I think it was the very early models that had the problems.

Me too. Mine was installed in 01 I fly 2.4 used to fly 72, use wifi and even have an old industrial generator that I use. The pacemaker will reset if it ever gets interference. I called Medtronic when I first got mine and they said go for it. Hope you do as well with yours as I have.

What do you wear when you open your garage door remotely or talk on a cell phone? Or start a lawn-mower or your car?
There is enough RFI around you that it shouldn't be any additional worry.
