That's just plain wrong, I don't believe you at all. That is basic anti-french behaviour. However, what I've mentioned is simply what is heard here, maybe due to the not so small brazilian community in Paris that work as prostitutes and "she is a he" or whatever you call it. But we for sure assume all brazilian are not like this, don't get me wrong.

On the other, remember please Strykaas, you broached the subject. Since you are not an American you have no basis for making a statement about American mores. It is true that for many years the American popular thought was that 90% of French "Men" were "Nancy Boys." Jacques Chirac has done nothing to change the American image of the French populace.

At the same time this perversion does not make a person valueless to society. One of the great 20th century composers, Francis Poulenc, was a French "Nancy" who wrote excellent music. We in America are not immune, Leonard Bernstein was also afflicted with perverted morals, and he wrote, among others, "West Side Story."

While I admire the product, I do not admire the person.

I couldn't let this one pass, sorry. I know it's politically not correct to blame these guys/girls, but please Wiliam, remember that at least in Europe, AIDS spread with these guys and now we have major contamination everywhere... Nobody can argue about that, that's just facts. Sometimes we'd better say the truth and live with it, instead of lying to ourselves, which leads to confusion. Don't regard this as "normal", otherwise some young heads will turn out having two mothers or two fathers as parents [:@] (it's already the case in some countries). Can you imagine your being in that situation ? Please help stop paving the way for such situations (adoption, etc...) with such friendly comments. Let these innocent children have regular families, please.

Lets get back on topic before my wife (Brasillian) somehow sees some of the comments and blows up. Near as I can tell, RCM has shut down printing the magazine and is somewhere in the process of finding a buyer for it, but they are still selling their plans and at least some of their books. Kalbach publications has sent out a letter appologizing for their part to some hobby shops, since apparently, although they are not the publisher, they were the distributor, and the RCM website has been updated to say they are somewhere in the process of trying to find a buyer. And someone actually reported recieving a partial credit on his credit card for his uncompleted subscription. And I think everybody agrees they had some lovely pictures of lovely women accenting the planes on the covers. What's next?

When are we going to see that building article of the "Lear Fan 2100" that was due to come ? That makes me sick, it would have been a great plan and model. Only saw a picture of it in a frenc rc mag.

If you paid my CC, is there some way the CC company could credit you for goods not received. I would think fraud protection might work?

Probably the fraud aspect would have to be legally proven. A company's going out of business suddenly doesn't necessarily prove fraud was involved. A cousin of mine just closed a business after over 20 years when an auditor discovered some basic arithmetic errors over the years changed his finances from a 5 figure positive to an almost 7 figure debit. His customers had less than a month's notice. He had to declare bankruptcy to keep from loosing everything because of the amount of merchandise on order that customers had placed part or full deposits on, and he didn't have enough financial reserves to pay the manufacturers so that he could take delivery.

7 FIGURES? WOW, that's what I call arithmetic. Difficult, but not impossible, to believe cash flow could be that far off and not noticed. Guess it depends on nature of the business.
