Ernis:
I have both PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro, both excellent tools.
The one posted above was done with Paint Shop, I find quick and dirty work much easier with Paint Shop, doing complicated changes/alterationsw PhotoShop has the greater capabilities needed.
Bill.

RE: Has RCM folded?
Oh, I love a challenge.....
This lovely lady knew that I loved R/C, so she went out and bought this airplane. I took the photo just before she forced me to take it. She was afraid that if she didn't give me this present, I wouldn't take her out to dinner.....

Don't know if it will do any good, but I emailed RCM to see if they would provide any info. Probably not but the email was free. Also suggested that they release the plan/article through their service.

RE: Has RCM folded?
I have a stash of RCM since my first year in 1967. Seems the last few years all they had on their covers were ugly 5 year old kids that even a grandmother could not love.
RC Report has a great cover this month. I hope they continue with the genre. Beautiful women on covers of magazines goes back over 100 years. The Saturday Evening Post had many covers with paintings from Gil Elvgrin, Rolff Armstrong Vargas etc.

I had two covers in the 1980s. If any of you have a copy, would you mind posting it here.
R/C Modeler July 1981. Cover shot of my Brian Taylor P-47 Pistol Packin Mama.
Scale R/C Modeler of December 1983 with my Mick Reeves Hurricane painted in American Eagle Sq markings.
The girl in the Scale R/C Modeler is wearing my One Eight Air Force Shirt.

A friend built one and it was a real handful.

Similar but definitely different. Obviously based upon the same full scale though.

Just sent another email request for info, so far not even an acknowledgement of getting it. [:@] I'd like them to at least say "Sorry, can't do" but I hate being ignored after spending my money with them all these years.

They probably are only maintaining a skeleton staff and no one there that can answer your requests. If I were trying to sell my business which had quit producing a product, I would not be paying salaries to idle workers waiting to do something!

RE: Has RCM folded?
I sent this photo to RCM about two years ago and Jim Pearson returned it because Pat Crews did not want to run it.
The lady is my 52 year old wife. She also is my caller when I fly. She loves warbirds.

RE: Has RCM folded?
Here is a cover of Scale R/C Modeler from 1983. This photo was taken at the exact same place as the photo I submitted to RCM a few years ago shown in my previous post. It was taken in front of Lowrey Airforce Bace main hanger in Denver.
The Hurricane was an 80 inch model from a Mick Reeves kit, OS 90 and Kraft radio. It is a model of Red Tobin's plane that he flew as an American Volanteer with the American Eage Squadron in the Battle of Britain 1941.
The girl is wearing my ONE EIGHTH AIRFORCE shirt.
