Default Will hitec male fit into futaba female (for charging)

I am currently using my charger for my futaba tx/rx. I might be buying a kan 1050 battery pack for an electric plane. The kan battery pack comes with a hitec male connector. Will the hitec male end from the battery fit into a futaba female that comes with the charger?? I noticed my futaba ends have a little notch in them while the hitec does not. This leads me to believe that hitec into futaba will work, but not futaba into hitec. Do I have this right, or will I have to buy a female hitec connect to use with my charger??

It will work if you sand or cut the beveled edge into the connector.

Sometimes I just run my razor knife along the connector edge to slice off the corner.

Good luck!
