Default Where to buy stand offs etc?

I'm converting a Tiger Moth 30 and need some help finding a mount for my outrunner. I need some stand offs or universal mount.

I was able to get some nice stand-offs at Hobby Lobby. You get different sizes so you cna mix and match.

Forget the LHS try your Local hardware store. ACE and ACO are two that I use for all standoffs, o-rings, nylon screws, etc.

SAVES a bundle!!!!

I use 1/2" Dia hardwood dowels with holes drilled through the center. Saves a BIG bundle.

E-flite makes terrific mounts for outrunners. One connectes to the motor and can be attached to a stick, same size as a SloStick. The second is a plastic stick connected to a flange. If you want to connect your motor to a stick, like the GWS planes use, just get the first one. If you need to mount to a firewall, get both and trim the length of the "stick" to set the motor at the correct distance.

Home Depot has plastic bushings similar to the ones sold by Hobby Lobby.
