Hey Chuck,

I am certainly no expert, but I agree it is MDF.

I'm casting my vote for ground up Cocaktoo fingertips.

Yeah, it might be ground up Cackatoo fingertips, MDF might be a bit heavy for a 'composite' plane.....

Hi Chad,
What is the status of this.
Did you have one for the worlds ?
Is/will it be available ?

Hi Brian,

No I did not have one for the worlds, the manufacturer originally slated to produce it failed to deliver on time. Post worlds the molds were retrieved and given to another company to produce the model.

The first fully assembled pre-production is close to ready, I hope to have pictures of that next week.

So yes we are still working on it! Albeit a little slower than previously planned!

Hi Chad,
I will look forward to seeing that.
Will ZN be producing it ?
I saw it on Chris's site as 'comming soon' so I thought I'd give the thread a bump up.

Hi Brian,

The construction of the plane is subbed out, but ZN is still involved in all design etc.

Looks good as expected....and I'm sure it will be properly tuned after a few flights by Chad.

What is the expected street price?

Colin.

Very Nice...

Colin - [link=http://www.znline.com/produits.php?langue=english&cle_menus=1023262912&cle_data=1294145011]ZN's[/link] web site indicates $1750 euros for the the basic white.

Chad - will there be an oppurtunity to order one with preferred paint colors applied to standard scheme for a nominal up charge?

Colin, don't know how accurate the website prices are, probably best to talk to Chris Moon if he is getting any in and what the price might be, or direct email to ZN. I think prices on ZN site include some taxes which we would not be subject to.

Glen, I am sure that custom schemes can be worked out for color changes to a stock scheme or complete custom schemes.

Thanks Doug! It turned out better than I had in my imagination. JP has really put a lot of work into the plane, and I am sure he is even more excited than me.

I can't wait to get it in my hands and put it into the air!

Fuse construction looks very Sparkish around the gear area. I assume Krill has made the fuse?

Regards,
Jason.

Hello everyone

JP is working hard on the first model to make sure it is as close to perfect as we can get it, as with everything this process takes some time, but should be worth it in the end.

I attached a picture of what the kit is going to look like and include. As an option pack you can also get rudder servo tray, battery tray, motor mount of your choice, and a tray for the receiver.

I hope that the model will be ready after the holidays.
