Extreme Flight Vanquish 2M
I have had a 2 Meter Vanquish now for two seasons, and am still not 100% dialed in with it yet. I was wondering what control throws, and expos some of you who may own one are using. I appreciate any tips I can get !

I have gone through 5 of this airplane in the last two years and I am still making changes/adjustments and I am not sure I will ever stop. The transition from Sportsman to Intermediate has been interesting and informative to say the least. Keep tinkering and eventually you may feel dialed in until you start the next sequence or advance to the next level. Just so you know, an FAI pilot was still adjusting his Episode after several years when he sold it to me. Hang in there. Jetmech43 is right. It is very personal.

I kept my throws as suggested in the build/assembly instructions and added expo to my needs. An FYI....I was having trouble with my Vanquish when doing vertical rolls, they were not "rolling on a string". Checked my motor thrust by advancing to full throttle from half throttle, level flight path. Discovered significant descending of the Vanquish. Added about 1-2 degrees of up-thrust and the diving tendency is gone and vertical rolls are much cleaner. Guess I got one with too much down thrust.

If you still can't get the feel after putting in the expo, you might want to check cg again. If you are using good servos and have good linkages, it's probably not your radio set-up or your control throws. I'd bet it's a little tail heavy... This model has a rather large stab which allows considerable latitude in cg, except there is one best set-up that shines over the others. You should have the room to move the bat fore about 1/2"
