Default piccolo tail rotor motor

I have about an hour of flight with my piccolo and my tail rotor motor is not working now. I have had a few hard landings........aka CRASHES, but the motor had been ok now it will work a little if you flick it with your finger, but not enough to keep the nose in one place. Once it stops, it will not start again on it's own. Does anyone have any ideas?

Default RE: piccolo tail rotor motor

Sounds like the motor died. The stock tail motor is somewhat fragile. What batteries are you running? How many cells? The motor does not live long at higher cell counts.
Many people replace the stock motor with a high authority motor upgrade.
