hubdaves zoom belt drive system
i'm completely sick of the gear setup, the stock gears broke before i even got into the air, then my ultem gears which were perfectly meshed stripped as well. i'm sick of this s#*@. Anyway, considering hubdaves belt setup, what actually comes in the kit???? i'm interested, is the cf frame also included or what?? a list would be nice and a bit of a refernec from someone who's flown with it.
Thanks,
Josh

If you want the belt drive, go ahead. It seams really nice. A simpler suggestion for you though. Buy upgraded sealed bearings. They are truly remarkable. I havent stripped a stock gear since. Actually, tonight in my garage I was playing with the gain and cyclic pitch... I hit the tail rotor 3 times on the concrete and the stock plastic gear did not fail!!!!![X(] What does that tell you?

RE: hubdaves zoom belt drive system
i can understand and have found also how these bearings can stop in flight strip, but i really wonder how they manage to save the gears during a tail crash? i really want the belt drive, just so i dont have to change things around, i just want to get it right and keep it the same. I know the belt drive drops performance, when set up properly, is it because of the extra weight or just th actuall device? my current zap weighs 510g so i doubt i'll notice the difference.
