Not sure the Profi .049 can be accused of that much torque, I've had no trouble on any of the four launches so far. I think the stupid light wing loading helps. I still have to learn what gentle control throws look like. High rate = stupid, who set that up?, middle rate = launch and landing, low rate = overly responsive at speed. And they are dialed down to 25% already.. ack. Might be able to reduce mechanical travel with new holes, gotta see.

I still have the cowl mold. The engine plate is easy to duplicate - I made it by hand then built the pattern to it. So I would just trace it from the original. I forget if you have any 1/2a or 1cc engines.
I can tell how clean it is because even at this light weight it takes frigging forever to slow down enough to come down, and I came up what I thought was short a couple of times and happily sailed past. I am almost 100% sure it will thermal without much trouble.
Frankly, if you epoxied a round firewall on the nose at the point that matches a Profi/Cyclon/Fora combat .049/.061 radial mount diameter and simply screwed any one of them to the nose, the thing would still be a bottle rocket. But none of those will catch a pumped up electric system in there. Although at this AUW the turning performance is off the scale.. zip... zip... zip...

Yeah, I got in four flights before the snow came. First 2 flights on a combat prop (it's on really bad iPhone video, there is a thread for it), then 4.1 x 4.5 CF. It hauled the mail on the last flight. The engine sounds happy as the proverbial pig at a bazillion rpm.
