RE: Revvers II
I just finished creating and mocking up a PVC stand to hold the F-20 fuselage, wing, and the wing for a second plane. Pretty slick, eh? [8D]
Now I need to drill it and screw it so it stays together. Then add the foam insulation. I got lucky, cuz I had just enough material left over from another project.

RE: Revvers II
The countdown begins!!! Getting everything charged up and hoping to get my old school pattern plane up and running. I haven't fired up a glo plane in a while. Helping me get fired up, the sound of the Blue Angels and other jets doing laps around my office for the Miramar Air Show gets the adrenaline pumping. Turn and burn!!!
Looking forward to next weekend....
ps- I almost threw together (scratch built) a screaming delta with my K&B 6.5 rear exhaust and pipe. It's too loud for my glo field. Maybe next time.

Troy-- I hear ya man! I work on Miramar road and while I was on break at work I went outside and saw the Stealth Fighter fly by, then awhile later the Blue Angels in diamond formation... Made the hair on my neck stand up
What old-school pattern plane do you have?
Tom- that looks good man!

I put an air matress in the back of mine to sleep on, & flip the tonneau cover back over. Just make sure you get up early, as it gets real warm under there!!

I was also looking at these today:
I would need to convert my hard tonneau to a roll up type. Either that, or just get a hard camper shell.

RE: Revvers II
Does your hard shell clip off the hinge pins like they do here?
You could put a soft cover on like mine if you have the pins on the side of your tray.
I like the look of that tent, does it clip to the side of the tray, or does it have straps to hold it there?

The truck tent gets assembled at the site you stay at. I think it has fiberglass poles to hold it up and what looks like straps to hold it tight onto the truck bed.
My hard shell tonneau cover is "supposed to be" removeable. However, at the time it was installed the fellows used a forklift to put it on the truck. I never tried to remove it myself in the last 9 years.
