Ive not seen anything specific on the F-18, but the people I know who are flying the F-4 and Mig-21 were pretty happy with the way they assembled and their flight performance.

I think why Ive not seen any F-18 reports, is the plane does not accomodate retracts... some guys are looking for that feature.

Thanks Bob , I keep going to there web to see if there is an update but it looks the same . I dont think it would be that difficult to make the mods for the gear but I also dont know the interior .
YOur probably correct about the gear as a hesitation , it may also be the price at $329 plus shipping .

Yeah, thats about the size of it.

The Cermark F-16 has sorta set the value point for ARF jet models.

For that price and no retracts, i would not even consider it.

I got a phone call from Richmond RC today to see if I still wanted one of these F-18s(I ordered it in May of '05'). They are shipping kits out at the end of this month. Not sure about retracts but I was told the kit now contains a full set of oleos....

F-18's are awesome but without retracts I would not consider it either... The Cermark looks sweet though!

I still have not heard of one person with this plane that can show production kit -finsihed pics . Its leaves a ton of questions about "is the quality worth the money " is this a better Vmar than in the past " I assume they are still $329 ???

Hi Ldm I dont have the F-18 but I do have the F-4,the only thing I dont like is the covering.I am tempted to get another one remove the covering glass and paint it.The plane it self flys great.

Thanks LDM, I wish I could take the credit for it.That is still the original covering. The covering is still looking good there. Now that the plane has several flights on it now, the bottom of the plane pealed right away, and like it was said before when it sits in the sun light it gets pretty nasty.I said that I would like to get another one and recover it.It is a great flying plane.

Frank.
