Default Adapter

Hi' to everyone :
Aresti Plane
The muffler is a Jett TT-40 and the engine is a OS46AX.
The muffler is right up against the fuse. Do you think
heat from the muffler will shrink-burn or melt the
monokote and plastic cowl ? Do you think I need a Adapter here ?
Heres a picture..
Thanks ,
Les

As long as it is not actually touching the covering, you will have no problem.

I took your advice and I'm going to leave it that way.
I did do a little more triming on the cowl. Nothing is
touching now.
Thanks,
Les

My Jett stream muffler touched the wing of my shrike for many flights and hardly left a mark.
