HITEC Telemetry Test Flight
Hi,
first flight with HITEC telemetry. Works fine, safe data transmission from T-Rex 550 Heli to Aurora 9.
Some impressions:
(Better see pics first to get a chance to identify the data shown in the video. It is a fairly bad cellphone video...)
Pics (advance with Older right above pic):

RE: HITEC Telemetry Test Flight
Uli,
Are you still using the Telemetry and are you using it torecord flight data? I bought the telemetry kit and amreally disappointed to understand that the data is not saved and downloadable. You have to record the data via the HPP-22 connected to a PC to get the full functionality of it.I would love to review a flight and see what speed, locationand RPM I was at in given situations, etc.But it’s just not possible to be connected with a radio and laptop at the field via a PC connected to the HPP-22 and then to the module on the back of the radio.TheHTS-NAVI USB receiver will solve this, but it’s bumped out from End of May to Late July expected deliveries, here on Tower Hobbies. That probably means I'll be lucky to use the system for next year's flight season. I'll try a flight with the laptop tethered to the radio, but only about one flight as it will be awkward as hell and I can hear the heckler’s at the club field now.
Does anyone from Hitec know when the HTS-Navi will arrive for purchase? Or are does anyone have any good suggestions to get the signal data back to the PC wirelessly? There are wireless USB ports such as the Ultra U-40929 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6346504&csid=ITD&recordsPerPage= 10&body=REVIEWS#tabs that may work, however it’d be some serious rigging that could be avoided if the HTS-Navi was simply available.

Maybe I’ll just take a chill pill and wait until August or next year to use the most recent $200 Hitec investment.
Frustrated.
