Red Aero RC is developing an MXS-R with EG Aircraft. Our goal is to offer this exciting airframe in sizes ranging from 30cc to 150-200cc.
Red Aero acquired the 100cc MX-2 prototype and it has proven to be a nice airplane. [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9168509/tm.htm]More here[/link]
The MXS and MXS-R are based on the MX-2.
We are getting some photos of our 50cc and 100cc MXS-Rs now, also photos of the 150-200cc MXS prototype.
And now for your viewing pleasure.

Any idea when the next batch of 50cc will show up? Any changes, modifications, etc.

Just a couple of minor tweaks, no major changes. We have a container of 30cc stuff on the way now. 50 cc stuff is next.
I will let Kenn answer your question about the pilots.

Maidened my 100cc MXS-R today. DLE-111 on stock pipes, Vess 27-C prop. Nice, stable, light, great tracking, great speed, excellent vertical, hover half throttle with excellent pull-out. Virtually no coupling. Looks great in the air, but didn't get any pics in flight today. BTW, this was the first 100cc airframe out of the box and on display at Joe Nall 2010. I was slow building, but what a great plane and worth the wait.

RE: Red Aero MXS-R sigting
I was Lucky enough to get the last 50 cc MSXR in December. I finished it up and was able to maiden it yesterday. It has a dle 55 for power. I only have 5 flights on it so far, but this plane seems to be incredible. It flies just about as well at my 35% planes. Rolls are VERY axial, and rolling harriers require virtually no rudder input. at 5300' elevation power, is off the charts. It's been a long time since i've flown 50cc, but this is definately a keeper. I like the way it looks in a harrier coming at you, it reminds me of a batman plane. If you're thinking about it and you have the chance to buy one, DO IT!

LOL
Is that the 30cc or 50cc with a quick release hatch and ringed cowl?

That is the 30cc, provisions are there and we suggest you use the canopy screws when using an engine. Electric motors don't shake as much.
