They didnt even ship until the 19th and today is the 27th and still no battery's. I even paid for the 3 day express buyers beware

Hobbyking is weird. All depends on there volume, sometimes Ihave had items ship within hours of ordering sometimes not. Last year mid novemeber Iplaced an order that didnt ship until over a month later, and then took a month to get there. No big deal. I have had good fast shipping luck with the US warehouse, but once again all depends. I learned when dealing with HK, never use them if I am in rush for anything lol. My items have always arrived and without any issues (knock on wood), just be patient....

If I need lipos quick I order from hobbypartz.com

I honestly think that they gather money on backordered items and order them when they have enough orders of their own to cover the their cost. That way they don't have as much overhead, but it takes longer to get the items you ordered.

I agree with Diesel and Max Att. I've had an order get here in 2 days from hk when i paid for the best shipping, have had stuff get here in 3 and a half weeks with the ems express shipping which they say is 3-6 days, and i've had stuff get here in 3-6 days with that shipping method as well. International shipping has its quirks. Not sure why it takes so long to get orders filled, even if it in stock it's been a couple days.

Only thing is i tend to forget about all that stuff when my items arrive. Prices are fair and like the others said if ur in a hurry you gotta go somewhere else or pay a ton for shipping, not ems express, that still uses usps. The next one above that will leave it at your door for you, it was fast for me, but pricey.

Diesel6401 said it best, ive not had any trouble with hobby king or hobby partz, just make sure what you order is in stock, value hobby is also good to deal with BUT their 5.5 bullets arnt compatible with castle and measure a little over 6mm.

Bought a Hull from Hobby King and took 28 days to get to UK. Also had motor mounts, flex shaft and stand missing! Am awaiting their response to my complaint.

No trouble here ether. Some EMS orders come in 3-4 days and some take 7-8. But I always get my items.

I have made 5 separate purchases from HK and all showed up around the same time (2-3 weeks or so, to NS Canada) Quality is always the same, cheap, but the cost is also cheap.

If you want the best of the best, buy local and pay lots. (and do your research, just because I told you it was "eco" doesn't mean anything)

"if we want the best buy local and pay lots"
that has no meaning at all[:-]
lots of local companies import from China and relable the propduct and add 100%+ to the price of the product and that makes it better..?
hmmm, not so sure I follow that theory

If you are serious about RC then buy from a reputable dealer. Hobby King just keeps getting worse by the day with no customer service and a warranty replacement process that is harder than breaking into Ft Knox. Save your money, those guys are Pirates.

Or you can play it smart. Buy the cheap $25 battery instead of the arseraping $200 ones and when it does go bad you dispose of it.

I buy the cheap batts knowing if they do go bad thats it I just get another.

I agree!
not sure why some make such a big deal of things and forget how much they really save at Hobby King
they are getting better by the month by opening new stores all over

Ditto on the warranty service.. I have been sitting on a three hundred dollar claim for 1 year with a continued promise by HK that there are working on it. I guess HK is a little like gambling, you should be prepared to lose it at anytime [&o]

Just got an order last week that was placed March 15.  EMS was paid for and everything showed as in stock when order was placed. Actual shipping time was 12 days. I have no faith in there stock quantitys as everything showed +10.

I see they have changed their order history view web page. Now they don't have a date that you ordered the product on the site.

First pic is the order history page. No Dates!
Next is the history of a particular order. No Dates again!

They just changed that within the last 24 Hrs...

I just logged in and noticed it too. Odd.

I just ordered up 3 UBEC's that was only 7 in stock when ordered. Now I see they are at 0. I hope I get them or else... I will have to buy them somewhere else!
