Where can I find a stripped chassis?
I want to build something like this:

That is clearly an airsoft tank with the turret stripped down. The servos for turret rotation and barrel lift/lowering are used to manuever the camera around. I don't want to buy a new tank just to strip it down, so I am interested in buying a refurb, return, damaged unit, etc, basically the chassis minus the plastic armor shell.
Where can I find something like this?I'd want good track suspension, proportional speed control, and definitely an airsoft gun feature so I can use that control for turning the camera/light on or off. (or a fireworks detonator) A machinegun noise feature would be good too, I could switch that over to being a push to talk remote voice commo feature.
I'll probably end up wiring it to this C6Ccontroller: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N294K7hz2KE which you guys probably know about but may find interesting.
It took me many hours of google to find this forum, I hope I find some answers here.

I don't think that is any tank I've seen by any of the 1/16 makers. If memory serves, it is a Kmart toy from a few years ago that someone has put electronics etc in.
By the time you find a stripped down hull with all the features you want, you would be in all probability ahead of the game to just get an HL airsoft tank with the RX18 boards and have at it. Perhaps some of you HL runners can fill him in more on the RX18 and what he needs to get for proportional speed control.

Save yourself some time and just buy this. I'll bet it goes 90% of the places a tracked one would go.

RE: Where can I find a stripped chassis?
I'd rather do the build using a tracked vehicle.
http://www.raidentech.com/maoemrarerca1.htmllooks like it might work, but will it have servos for the turret and gun, or will the gun elevation be some ****ty gear that ratchets up and down?
I also don't like that he claims that it's "OEM" when it's made by heng long.
